The OEM part 06538-S5A-H01 slider is a flimsy, “8” shaped bendable plastic part that connects your steering rods through a Bracket: (53604-S5A-003) to the rack & pinion. This create play in the steering wheel, and most importantly, a safety issue when cornering. It’s important to note that this part is right behind the exhaust manifold, which is contributing to dry rotting the OEM Honda slider and the grease that’s been in there for decades!!!

  • Easy to install with a perfect fit for compatible car models. Depending on your Honda model, rack and pinion fluid lines may need to be held up a small fraction of an inch using provided zip ties.
